Discover the exhibition with Dom Smaz, photographer and Milena Machado Neves, journalist. Although Switzerland has never had colonies as such, it has a complex and little-known colonial history. Based on a photographic report by Dom Smaz, this exhibition tells the forgotten story of Helvecia, a former German-Hellenic colony in Brazil. A singular encounter with the inhabitants of Helvecia that questions the consequences and legacy of this colonial past today.
