Share our experience around the displays dedicated to Ethiopia
Artist Kidist Degaffe and Floriane Morin, curator at the MEG, invite you to a discussion about the MEG's Ethiopian collections in the reference exhibition: They talk about their collaboration and how the museum has been transformed into a laboratory dedicated to new forms of storytelling about the Ethiopian objects on display. Throughout 2024, Kidist was able to discover, interpret and relive the material archives of her country of origin through the prism of the collection held at the MEG.
The tour will conclude with the exhibition ‘Rencontres’ (Encounters), in which artist Kidist Degaffe participated to develop a narrative around the netela, a traditional Ethiopian garment.

Free admission.
Please arrive at the MEG reception desk 5 minutes before the tour.
