Discover Afrosonica - Soundscapes with Madeleine Leclair, co-curator of the exhibition and curator of the Department of Ethnomusicology at MEG, and Nelly Pontier (MEG), project lead. This immersive sound exhibition explores the role of music and sound in African societies and their diasporas. The tour highlights the power of sound and music to open minds, feel the present moment, communicate, establish connections between humans and non-humans, transmit knowledge and emotions, and remember.
This is a unique opportunity to listen to and talk to the people involved in creating and producing the exhibition.
Speakers: Madeleine Leclair, curator of ethnomusicology at MEG, co-curator of the exhibition and Nelly Pontier, project lead.
