Storytelling for children. Stories that take care of the environment.
Sunday 3 December 2023, 12:00, 15:00, 16:00
A place to tell stories about our relationship with our environment. Foyer, reading area. Sunday 3 December, 12 noon, 3 pm and 4 pm.
At this event, we will be looking at the important question of how we care for our environment. Our way of observing it, studying it and getting to know it, and consequently our way of looking after it. On this occasion, we invite you to share a special moment with your children in the heart of MEG, in a reading area created for the purpose by the MEG library team, where stories will be read to you by MEG librarians at 12 noon, 3pm and 4pm.
Through this series of 'think and act' events, we hope to help you tackle the urgent issue of climate change through the prism of MEG's specific characteristics. By tackling themes such as care, repair, food, clothing and the transmission of knowledge and know-how, we hope to make the impact that our everyday actions can have on the environment more perceptible, and thus to question our relationship with it.
By working with you and people who are active and committed to climate and environmental issues, and by interviewing experts, artists, representatives of indigenous peoples, craftspeople and creative people, we are offering a programme of activities that provide practical tools for action and reflection, accessible and useful to everyone.
