An apple press to make your own juice in the MEG garden!
4 and 5 June 2022

A unique opportunity to take action and reflect on the issues of food waste while making your own apple juice. In front of the MEG. Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 June from 11am to 6pm.
Facing up to the environmental emergency, "Rendezvous for reflection and action": Food, responsibilities and sustainability.
On the occasion of the unprecedented and spectacular arrival at the MEG of an apple press from the Label Vie association, we invite you to spend a moment of reflection and action around the issues of food waste by making your own apple juice using the energy of your legs! This is a unique opportunity to share a fun and exciting activity with your friends and family while reflecting on the serious issues we face today.
During this "Rendez-vous for reflection and action", we are looking at the issue of food. Throughout the world, the cultures and practices of indigenous peoples are based on maintaining good relations with the various elements that make up the ecosystem and on the sustainable use of resources. The principle of responsible natural resource management that they uphold is increasingly reflected in global environmental action. This principle is also essential in the management of food, to combat waste and promote a better distribution of food. By drawing on indigenous food systems and traditional knowledge we can adopt sustainable alternatives and act here and now to protect our environment.
This event takes place on the first Sunday of the month and is therefore free of charge and requires no prior registration.
