Thursday 31 August 2023, 11:15

L'image représente la bataille d'Adoua (1896), qui se termina par la victoire des troupes éthiopiennes sur les troupes italiennes mettant fin à la première guerre coloniale italo-éthiopienne.

A workshop to find out what a hackathon is, learn about open data and come up with innovative challenges! MEG, auditorium. Thursday 31.08.2023. 11.15 am. - 12.45 pm.

Come and find out more about GLAMhack23 as part of the Open Source Day in Archives, Libraries and Documentation Centres!
Once a year, the Swiss OpenGLAM Working Group brings together data providers, software developers, digital humanists, artists, Wikimedians/Wikipedians, and other interested people in order to experiment how cultural data and content can be used for research purposes, for web and mobile apps, in the context of Wikipedia, for artistic re-mixes, or for other forms of re-use.
The focus of the 2023 edition lie on colonial collections, provenance research and the application of the FAIR and CARE principles in data governance!
As a pre-event to GLAMhack23, come and find out what open data is, how a GLAMhack works and how to participate! We'll be discussing potential ideas for innovative challenges to be implemented during GLAMhack23!
Speaker: Lionel Walter (arbim IT), Gaston Wey (opendata.ch), Marina Berazategui (MEG)
