Record playing by MC Madeleine and Mathias

Record playing by MC Madeleine and Mathias. Temporary exhibition. Saturday 2 November from 7.30pm to 9pm.

During this weekend of celebrations, MC Madeleine and Mathias will be playing records in the heart of the temporary exhibition ‘Memories. Geneva in the colonial world’. In keeping with the theme of the exhibition, this will be an opportunity to discover part of the rich collection of vinyls from the Archives internationales de musique populaire housed at MEG.

Mathias is a record producer and musician specialising in Jamaican music. Madeleine is in charge of the sound archives at MEG. Both are involved in the ‘Afrosonica - Soundscapes’ sensory exhibition project, soon to be presented at MEG.
