10 years of the new MEG building

A weekend of celebrations to mark the 10th anniversary of MEG's new building. Thursday 31 October at 6.30pm, Friday 1 November at 6pm, Saturday 2 November at 11am and Sunday 3 November at 11am

The new building is already celebrating its 10th birthday!

For the occasion, a festive weekend awaits you with a rich, joyful and creative programme!

Thursday, October 31 :

• 6:30pm - 8pm : Performance by Jean-Jacques Birgé and Amandine Casadamont to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the International Archives of Popular Music (AIMP).

Friday, November 1st :

• 6pm-10pm : Opening of the exhibition "Rencontres" and the new permanent collection, with an aperitif and DJ set by Dem Gyalzzz.

Saturday, November 2nd :

• 11am-4pm: Family workshop with George Nuku (ongoing)
• 11am-12pm, 2pm-3pm, 3pm-4pm, 4pm-5pm: Visits in pairs to the two temporary exhibitions at MEG
• 12.45pm-1.15pm, 2.15pm-2.45pm, 3.45pm-4.15pm, 5.15pm-5.45pm: Introduction to Hip-Hop and Afro House
• 13h30-14h, 15h-15h30, 16h30-17h: Albanian storytelling in French by Bessa Myftiu
• 16h30-17h: Birthday cake
• 18h30-19h30: Performance "Goûter/Dégoûter" by Marie Van Berchem
• 19h30-21h: Record-playing by MC Madeleine and Mathias
• 21h-00h: DJ-set by Marara Kelly
