POSTPONED : Revival of the sound archives X Label Suisse: Serge Vuille of Ensemble Contrechamps at MEG

This DJ-SET is postponed to Thursday 1 September 2022, from 7 to 8 pm in the MEG garden.

In anticipation of its 10th edition from 16 to 18 September, Label Suisse is taking a trip to the MEG's sound archives to invite an artist from its programme to play the role of headhunter each month. A digging dive during which, each musician will evolve in an exceptional collection of 5000 LPs to extract his or her favourites, compile them and then unveil them during a vinyl dj-set performed live and in before, one Thursday a month from June.

In the August sunshine, MEG is pleased to welcome Serge Vuille of Ensemble Contrechamps to heat up the decks in his magnificent garden!

Serge Vuille is a Swiss programmer, curator, percussionist and composer active in the contemporary and experimental music scene.

He has developed an open and committed vision of today's music with the Kammer Klang series and the percussion and electronic ensemble We Spoke, of which he was artistic director for five and ten years respectively. In April 2018, he took over the artistic direction of the Ensemble Contrechamps, with which he continues to develop, promote and contextualise contemporary instrumental music.
