Visit with Bansoa Sigam: highlighting heritage

Tour and discussion of the DÉMEMBRÉE – REMEMBERED installation with its curator, Banso Sigam. Saturday 2 November from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Banso Sigam, Swiss and Cameroonian curator and researcher, will take you on a tour of her installation DÉMEMBRÉE – REMEMBERED. This “Capsule” highlights the inheritances of women who have been earased from the MEG’s collections during the colonial era. It features both contemporary works by Beya Gille Gacha and Lafalaise Dion with older pieces, against the background of a poem by Paloma Lukumbi.
