The awakening of the sound archives #28: Alan Bolumar DJ Set

For an hour-and-a-half set, the guest artists will take us on a musical journey with their personal selections. Lobby (-1). Thursday 7 November from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.

The records played during this DJ Set come from the Marco Botta collection, acquired by MEG in 2011. The collection comprises almost 5,000 LPs, most of which date from the 1960s and 70s and have been released on a wide range of labels around the world.

"Between catatonic melodies, dancefloor anthems, folk melodies, forgotten B-sides and sonic experiments, Alan Bolumar takes music by storm. Often unexpected, sometimes intriguing, always exciting, his selections weave a multifaceted landscape.
