Introduction to capoeira workshop by Mestre Braga. Auditorium. Sunday 6 November from 2pm to 3pm.
Capoeira is a popular Brazilian art form that has since spread far beyond the country's borders and is becoming increasingly popular throughout the world.
Between dance and wrestling, this free workshop, given by a widely recognized mestre and founder of a capoeira school, is proposed to initiate young and old curious people to this traditional physical and musical art.
A way to dive directly into the foundations of this dance and martial art by practicing its basics.
This workshop is open to everyone from 5 to 99 years old.
No prerequisites are required, this is an introductory workshop offered to all those interested.

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Mestre Antonio Braga is a member of Mestre Pastinha's famous Angola Capoeira school in Salvador de Bahia. He was initiated in 1970 by Mestre Moraes de Salvador. He then developed his work by founding the Capoeira Angola Africa Banto group and has already organised training courses and demonstrations not only in Brazil, but also in the United States, Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany and now in Geneva, where he is based.
