Experience a sensible alternative to "fast-fashion" with the Sipy association's Troc. Sunday 2 October, Foyer, from 11am to 6pm.

Facing the climate emergency: Meetings to reflect and act.

The impact of our consumption of clothing and the industry that goes with it on the climate is no longer in question. But what are the alternatives? How can we take care of our environment and still dress the way we want? The Sipy association proposes an alternative inspired by the barter system and we suggest that you contribute by bringing one or two items of clothing or accessories (hats, belts, caps, etc.) that you no longer wear to exchange for something else you need or a voucher for a later exchange.

Don't forget to take one or two items of clothing with you to exchange!

Through this series of "think and act" events, we would like to discuss the climate emergency with you through the prism of MEG's specificities. By tackling themes such as care, repair, food, clothing, or the transmission of knowledge and know-how, we want to make the impact that our daily actions can have on the environment perceptible and thus question our relationship with it.

By collaborating with people who are active and committed to climate and environmental issues and by interviewing experts, artists, representatives of indigenous populations, people from migrant backgrounds, artists and creative people, we offer a programme of activities that provide practical tools for action and reflection, accessible and useful to all.

This event takes place on the first Sunday of the month, so it is free of charge and no prior registration is required.
