On the occasion of International Museum Day, whose theme is "Happy Museums: sustainability and well-being", MEG is offering three short tours of the permanent exhibition for children and adults, based on three objects related to the environment.
On this day, discover with your family an object from the MEG's permanent exhibition that invites you to rethink your relationship with the environment and inspires new ways of acting sustainably in your daily life for the future
A visit for families, accessible from 5 years old.
Tour programme:
11.30am-12pm: Sustainability tour for families of the permanent exhibition: the amauti woman's parka, Greenland, Angmagssalik.
1.30pm-2pm: Sustainability tour for families of the permanent exhibition: the headrest.
4pm-4.30pm: Sustainability tour for families of the permanent exhibition: The Ghostnets in Northern Australia, Torres Strait.
Visits are free and no registration is required on International Museum Day.
It is advisable to arrive at the museum reception desk 5 minutes before the start of the tour.
Visits are available in french.
