Storytelling for children. Stories that take care of the environment.

Sunday 2 April 2023, 15:00, 16:00

We tell you two stories about the relationship we can have with our environment. Foyer, reading area. Sunday 2 april, 3pm and 4pm.

In this "Rendezvous for reflection and action", we look at the subject of waste. What is its place in our daily lives? What is it? Where does it come from? Where does it go? What happens to it?
On this occasion, we invite you to share a special moment with your children in the heart of the Museum of Ethnography, in a reading space created for this purpose by the MEG library team.
Two stories have been chosen from the MEG library collections and will be told to the delight of adults and children alike.
This event takes place on the first Sunday of the month and is therefore free of charge and does not require prior registration.
Through this series of "meetings to think and act" we would like to address the issues of climate change through the prism of MEG's specificities. By tackling themes such as care, repair, food, clothing, or the transmission of knowledge and know-how, we wish to make the impact that our daily actions can have on the environment perceptible and thus question our relationship with it. By collaborating with you and people who are active and committed to climate and environmental issues, by interviewing experts, artists, representatives of indigenous peoples, or even craftspeople and creative people, we offer you a programme of activities that provide practical tools for action and reflection, accessible and useful to all.
