Yoga in the museum!
Saturday 21 January 2023, 09:30
Yoga sessions return to the MEG. Permanent exhibition. Saturday, January 21 at 9:30 am
Yoga sessions return to MEG in 2023. From January to April, one session per month will be offered, focusing on the "traditional" dimension of this discipline. These sessions are a way to introduce participants to this practice born in India, which consists of connecting the mind, body and soul, thanks to a set of physical, spiritual, mental and breathing exercises and practices.
To this end, Michelle Kamerzin, from Yoga Lab, has created sequences of postures, or âsana, especially for MEG, which integrate harmoniously into the décor of the permanent exhibition.
Pranayama
During this first session, which will be slow and gentle, we will focus on our breathing, its benefits on the anatomical, mental and energetic levels. Controlled breathing is essential to the practice of yoga and contributes greatly to one's well-being. This is why it is commonly said that without conscious breathing, there is no yoga.
