Cycle: Meetings for reflection and action.
Sunday 6 October, 10:15
A day at the museum to "think and act" on the climate emergency. Sunday 6 october from 10.15 am to 6 pm.
Facing the environmental emergency, "Meetingsto reflect and act".
Through this series of meetings "to think and act" we wish to address with you the issues of the climate emergency through the prism of the specificities of MEG. By addressing themes such as care, repair, food, clothing, or the transmission of knowledge and know-how, we wish to make perceptible the impact that our daily actions can have on the environment and thus question our relationship with it.
By collaborating with you and people who are active and committed to climate and environmental issues, by interviewing experts, artists, representatives of indigenous peoples, or even craftspeople and creative people, we propose a program of activities that provide practical tools for action and reflection, accessible and useful to all.
Programme:
10.15 am and 11.15 am: Chocolate memory: children's discovery trail
11 am to 5.30 pm: From the pod to the chocolate! Tasting workshop and discussion about chocolate.
11am to 5.30pm: Reading area.
From 2.30pm to 4pm: Chocolate, a colonial heritage: how can it be consumed in a sustainable and ethical way? Discussion open to all.
16:30 to 18:00: Screening. MEG X Everybody's Perfect: Asog
This event takes place on the first Sunday of the month, so it is free and no prior registration is required.
