Access for the press

Members of the press with a valid press card have free access to the Museum. The press card must be presented at the Reception desk for validation.

Material made available to the press

Members of the press who wish to write about the Museum and its activities for editorial purposes are invited to use our press photos and texts free of charge. The photos can be downloaded in high definition. Don't forget to mention the photo credit: ©MEG, name of the photographer.

When using images or texts, please refer to the information provided in the press kits / press releases. In case of doubt about the copyright of the images, please contact our communications department.

Photo/video

Photography and video are permitted inside the Museum, except for certain works in temporary exhibitions that are marked "no photo".

The use of flash is permitted in the Museum, except for certain works in temporary exhibitions marked "no flash".

The MEG welcomes all types of photography and filming, whether for the press, for private or commercial purposes, including feature films, television dramas and documentaries.

All professional photography and press or commercial filming within the Museum must be supervised by a trained MEG staff member.

All requests to photograph or shoot images in the MEG must be submitted for authorization at least two weeks prior to the requested date (see conditions below).

Conditions for photo/video reporting

The MEG reserves the right to refuse requests.
