A day about repair, care and sustainability.

Sunday 3 April 2022, 10:00

Calebasse réparée @MEG, J. Watts

On this day of reflection and action we look at the question of care and repair, and how this is crucial for the preservation of our environment. Sunday 3 April, from 10 am to 6 pm.

In this "Rendezvous for Reflection and Action", we look at the issue of care and repair. All over the world, indigenous peoples are managing their environment through an ethic of care and a culture of reparation. As such, they are contributing to the achievement of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Throughout the day, various activities will be organised. We hope that this will give us a new perspective on the objects that surround us and enable us to put into practice in our daily lives an ethic of care and repair that will allow us to act sustainably to preserve the environment.

10am and 11.15am: Discovery visit for children, the Prince and the Salmon.
11am to 6pm: A repair café in the heart of the Museum
11am to 6pm: A bicycle self-repair workshop in the MEG garden
2pm to 3.30pm: Meeting and discussion about care and repair
16:00 to 18:00: Screening of "Borneo - The Vanishing Forest

This event takes place on the first Sunday of the month and is therefore free of charge and requires no prior registration.
