One hour set of a selection of afro-brazilian music vinyls. Foyer. Sunday 6 November 2022 from 5pm to 6pm.

Dr. Doca, a specialist in Brazilian music in Switzerland, performs a one-hour set at the MEG after having searched the MEG's vinyl collections, to the great pleasure of our ears.

This is an opportunity to discover different musical styles in connection with the MEG's temporary exhibition Helvecia, a forgotten colonial history. From capoeira to umbanda, via calango and vissungo, you will be able to hear a part of the Afro-Brazilian musical culture.

Dr. Doca is what is known as a 'digger', a sort of gold digger of the LP. For years he has been amassing a very valuable collection of sound. A must-see set by the ambassador, specialist and researcher of Brazilian music in Switzerland.
