Baltazar Montanaro (violin and quinton) and Laurent Geoffroy (diatonic accordion) present music for dancing through their instruments. MEG music room. The instrumental encounters are the result of a collaboration between the Ateliers d'ethnomusicologie (ADEM) and the MEG. During this musical moment, musicians present their instruments and the repertoire in which they are played. Baltazar Montanaro is a violinist and researcher. His repertoire and his playing are inspired by his Hungarian origins through bits of traditional melodies and techniques specific to Central Europe. As for Laurent Geoffroy, a marine carpenter by training, he discovered the accordion during his apprenticeship... on a boat.
